Cactus Jack`s Bar and Grill in Palm Desert

I've eaten here a few times and it's always good. Staff are attentive and friendly. I had the fillet and it was cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes are delish. Others at our table got the prime rib. It was a beautiful cut of PR. They said it was excellent. One person had lamb chops and said those too were fabulous.

Actually be thing that I've been keeping from you XM honestly hard for me to talk about The Weeknd the Murphy and I went away Instagram life they're supposed to be working together but I took a couple days off to go to town and she called to tell me what you would have done right I myself for not being there Murphy was on there exactly sympathetic

First of all, all pints of beer are $4.00. Huge hamburgers with fries delicious. TVs to watch sports.

I had the lamb shank. Delicious. Tender. Falling off the shank. Would like to see a bigger beer selection. All the other plates looked good too.

A local hangout for visitors and locals a like. Happy a hour is very busy so get there early. Good idea to make reservations for dinner. Great menu to select from. Staff and service top shelf.

I love this place BUT!!!!!! My hair caught on fire trying to get into the booth!!!!!! Yeah there was a candle at the very front of the table. If you ever been here the booths are nice but suck trying to get into. I had the middle seat so I leaned over to get in and soot over and I saw all this smoke fire from the tables candle!!!!!! I have long hair to my belly button. Huge chunks fell to the floor! The manager came over twice just to see what was going on but didn’t give me anything computed or for free. But it is still a nice place with good food. LADIES WATCH YOUR HAIR NEAR A CANDLE!

The Best. . Always!! We were a party of 4, eating prime rib, chicken fried steak and the New York strip. . All. . Delicious. Kim was at our table and she was great. . If you haven't been, Go. You will never be anything but very happy!!!

We had a great time. Bartender was very attentive. For a more senior crowd. I loved it.

Very, very busy is a good sign for me. One of the best prime rib cuts I've had. Manhattan was huge! Tough getting a seat at the bar cuz no one wants to leave. Once seated, great bar company cuz they were regulars and had lots to share.

One of the best breakfast I have experienced. I had the crab Benedict and I was delighted at the fullness of the crab cakes. Lump crabmeat!!!! This was my first time visiting Palm Desert and Cactus Jack's both left me hungry for more. Clean pleasant comfortable atmosphere reminds you of the Brown Derby on the inside gives you that classic Hollywood feel. We were also blessed with their 🌟 server Tammy!! Ask for her section, she is as delightful as the food.

Yeah it's just a sports bar. But...the food is great. And, even when it seems packed, somehow the service is speedy and excellent.

Server Christine at the bar is the best to go along with great food and atmosphere. Jack's is always a must were I'm in town.

This has to be the best kept secret in town because "it's not fancy." I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place thinking it was a taco place or another Mexican restaurant. My friend took me here saying they had great cocktails. We just wanted a drink after a sport event. Well, there's no mention of taco in the menu. They do make the best cocktails, any kind. It actually tastes like a fantastic cocktail. And for myself, which I was not expecting on the menu. I couldn't believe they had "Oyster Rockefeller " in the menu!! I had to have it and OMG!!! I will be back. I didn't even try their Prime Rib which their famous for.

One of my favorite neighborhood bars, you will often see repeat locals over and over. Great menu great food love the pastrami sandwich battered mushrooms, short ribs and salmon Caesar salad. Kevin is a accomplished bartender.

Really good service and I enjoyed the Avocado salad. Highly recommend.

Everyone always enjoys Cactus Jack's. I love the Big Fish Sandwich. With or without the bun. The beef is loved by all.

Excellent food, but make a reservation if you want a dinner table. Service was good but had to eat at the bar. Still really really good food. Highly recommended by me and the wife, she had way more fish than bun, enough for two sandwiches.Top notch establishment.

Ate late but the food was good and good service. If you want a quiet place , it is not. The bar area is loud.

Super great local place, comfortable and clean, table cloths or eat at the bar. Great pour, delicious food, reasonable pricing for the quality. Service is super, see Christina at the bar. Locals and visitors friendly and fun. Easy to find Highway 111 location, lots of parking. Try the ribeye or the scampi, both excellent. We will be back! 👍

Not quite sure why not 5 Stars but no over the top stuff here, but No BS...This place is the ONLY place to go if you want prime rib virtually any day of the week. Super friendly bar with patio and ample parking. This is primarily a locals only place yet right on Hwy 111. If you want a real menu a solid cocktail and a warm serene setting inspired by a great menu..come on down, warning come early or your in the street. Just found out they are open for breakfast on the weekends opening at 9 am with $5 Bloody Mary's!

This restaurant is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. when I feel like having a decent lunch, this is the place that comes straight to my mind. excellent and food and a large list of dishes.trained staff, and agreeable mood. And very important, the tariff is affordable. I praise this spot with pleasure.

George the owner is a stand up guy , makes you feel like family , food is really good, shot out to Martin the head cook, bartenders do an amazing job, Flora server is wonderful and Ish food runner is a very hard worker. Miss the old Indio location but Palm Desert is the spot now....

PRICY YET WORTH IT, EVERYBODY WENT BEYOND BACK WORDS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT. IT'S A VERY POPULAR PLACE. WE WHERE YOLD A LOT OF LOCALS GO THERE SURE ENOUGH IT WAS PACK. GET THERE EARLY PARKING WAS TIGHT. NO COMPLAINS HERE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PLACE.

We just love this place. Good food great drinks! You can sit at the bar or be casual in the restaurant. They also have a linen table set up area for fancier dining! And don't forget to check out the outside patio area for some fun cocktails and good food as Well!

Love this place, Santos is the best bartender around he always treats so me special. He is just to die for ;) Also the best food and drinks in the valley in my opinion.

Been coming to Cactus Jack's for the 12 yrs we've lived here. Truly our "Cheers" bar and grill. Everybody knows your name...and theirs! LOL!!

Good food good prices staff really nice

This restaurant and bar is a local hangout that has been around for awhile. The food is amazing and staff is great. Parking isn't great but who cares for this place!

I am shocked this place has a 4.6 review. I have never been to a place with Mediocre food, and overall attitude with a good review. My family came here for a reunion lunch at 3 pm. We were told we need to leave at 5 PM . We told the host that , that should not be a problem. However we were harrassed every 15 minutes by the host, reminding us to leave by 5. This was a most annoying restaurant experience I have endured. Serving staff were apologetic and very good.

A little noisy. Food excellent. Waitress great.
